Abstract

Virtual reality technology is now the hot spots of applied research in computer simulation at home and abroad, which have been involved in numerous research and applications, and experts believe that it has been one of the three major laws of the objective world for human beings to explore. This paper presents the features of virtual reality technology such as multi-sensory, input nature, autonomy and interactivity and so on, and virtual reality technology can be divided into four types which is desktop type, immersion type, enhanced type, network distributed type, and its applications and development trend in the military field, etc.
