Abstract :
In order to innovate products that can satisfy customers´ requirements, the flow, circulation and feedback of design information are essential in the research and development for new products. In this paper we analyze four fundamental forms of the design information format and transformation in the product innovation feedback, discuss the information flow and circulation based on the Rapid Prototype, propose the design information model based on the Rapid Prototype and indicate that the Rapid Prototype can improve the circulation of design information and efficiency of information feedback. In particular, we take the research and development of RH therapeutic apparatus for example and illustrate the design information model based on the Rapid Prototype and its application.
