  • Abstract
Based on the orthogonal test method, optimizing test on softwood cutting propagation technique of Symplocos tetragona has been carried out. The results indicated that cutting type, growth regulator type, growth regulator concentration, and treatment time had significant effect on rooting quality of Symplocos tetragona, and the best level for factors were the upper part of cuttings with terminal buds and some leaves, naphthalene acetic acid(NAA), 1200mg/L and 30 seconds treatment, and the rooting rate was 70.00%.
