Abstract
From five classic types of reticulated domes, selected models with minimum weight were chosen from the sectional optimization results of hundreds of shell computing model with different size. Building up the mapping relationship between span,rise-span ratios and type of shell with minimum weight by using the method of Intelligent two-level Algorithm, provides an easy and cleverly way to accomplish lectotype optimization of dome structure through section optimization.
