Abstract
This paper tries to figure out Beijing-Shanghai Railway´s impact on regional spatial distribution with the methods of Spatial Data Analysis and general linear regression. The results indicate that the influences from passenger transport and freight transport are significant different. The passenger transport has greater impact on area spatial distribution. Meanwhile, the influences on Beijing and Shanghai also show different trends. With the change of passenger transport scale, the regional spatial distribution is input and standstill in Beijing, but output and dispersed in Shanghai.
