Abstract
Nowadays in industrial concerns, it´s more and more usual to use machine tools with digital control. It might be a big advantage if the control program is changed very often. This article describes the project and the construction of a simple school but precise 3-axis CNC surfacer designed for shaping of wood, plastic and light metal alloys with maximal dimension of 400 × 300 × 200 mm. The assumed accuracy is 0.005 mm. Movement is solved by step motors and bright bolts with nut with balls. The machine tool is portable and is controlled by an usual PC.
