Abstract :
In this paper, we analyze the performance of the blind synchronizer based on syndrome checks using hard decisions for low density parity check (LDPC) code and give a method to compute frame synchronization error (FSE) bound. Only some kinds of LDPC codes are suitable to attain perfect synchronization. We present a two-step hybrid blind synchronizer using both hard and soft decision. Simulation results show that the complexity and performance of the hybrid synchronizer is just between the two previous synchronizers.
