  • Abstract
    An improved static clustering base station coordination strategy is proposed. Intra-cluster base stations use interference cancellation techniques to the edge users in adjacent clusters in order to effectively eliminate inter-cluster interference, and then adopt linear beam forming to intra-cluster users to cooperatively suppress intra-cluster multi-user interference. Compared with dynamic clustering coordination strategy, proposed strategy can significantly reduce communication overhead between base stations as well as algorithm complexity. Simulation results show that performance of such coordination strategy outperforms single-cell processing and static clustering strategy, and continues to improve with the increase of inter-cluster coordinate distance. When cluster size is two-cell and Dedge equals to 0.7, performance of proposed strategy even becomes better than that of dynamic clustering.
