  • Abstract
    An improved FEM simulation method of the plate wrinkling is proposed in this work. This method is easier and more effective as well. Reasonable and credible results can be obtained when this method is used to analyze the stability of a plate under a shear load. The practicability of the proposed method is validated further by simulating the instability behavior of the wing box under the aerodynamic force.
