Abstract
Wetland health assessment is one of important aspects in wetland protection. An assessment indictor system for estuarine wetland health is established in this paper, based on the Pressure – state – response framwork, which can denote the relationships between the pressure and the wetland healthy state. Then the framework, design of radial basis function neural network are presented. At last a radial basis function neural network is employed to evaluate the states of three main wetlands in Yangtze River Estuary by using MATLAB tools. The assessment results proves that this method is feasible, simple, stable and has a wide prospect of application.
