Abstract :
Magnetically controlled shape memory alloy (MSMA) changes its shape with the magnetic field, it can also be used in the inverse operation as sensors. Based on inverse characteristics of MSMA material, prototype and experimental system of the vibration sensor is designed and developed. The operation principle of MSMA vibration sensor is analyzed, the variation laws of induced voltage peak-peak are studied under different driving conditions and bias conditions on the vibration sensor. The experimental results of the prototype machine show the feasibility of the operation principle and the design method of the proposed MSMA vibration sensor.
