Abstract
Based on the background of the distribution system theory and an application paradigm of the national population information system (NPIS), a new data model for the huge mobile objects system (HMOS) is proposed in a large-scaled distributed environment. The new model mainly includes three aspects: 1) the definitions of the object and management domain; 2) mobility, state distribution and multi-state are preserved; 3) the HMOS framework is proposed to implement the object management.
