Abstract :
In this paper, we first put forward the importance of developing marine F77 station simulator in GMDSS teaching and training. Then we give the main methods to develop the voice and video communications based on F77 station simulator. Flash Media Server(FMS) enables one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-one, and many-to-many communication in real time between applications created in Flash CS3. With FMS and Flash CS3, we can implement voice and video communications based on F77 station simulator easily. Through this paper, we can find that Flash CS3 and Flash Media Server are ideally matched and is an effective method to develop marine F77 station simulator.
