Application of prototype method to creative design of basic training in student cultivation

The prototype method, one of the develop methods of information systems, was introduced to the basic scientific training in creative design in under-graduate and postgraduate cultivation. The design scheme, process and hardware and software platform of the fundamental model were supplied to the students. With the guides of the tutor, students could work out the model and finish the design within the short time. The characteristics of this teaching method were discussed and explored when using this method. It is shown that this method will help to change the teaching method of traditional mode, to improve teaching quality, and to promote the development of quality education. With the combination of modern education technology aided the prototype teaching method, the obvious good results can be gotten when it is applied to the basic teaching. Furthermore it is worth discussing and exploring the method.
