  • Abstract
Data exchange of the heterogeneous database can perfectly accomplish transmission and exchange of the heterogeneous data and satisfy the requests for data exchange and sharing. Data exchange technology is studied. Data exchange platform based on JAVA and XML is designed by using XML (eXtensible Markup Language) file as intermediate medium of data exchange and on the basis of the relevant operation of handling XML file with VTD-XML (Virtual Token Descriptor for XML), the new non-extraction XML analytical technology. The system structure and whole flow of the platform is introduced in detail. Much importance has been attached to describing the inter-conversion between relational schema of database and XML Schema and the realization of data extraction from relational database and XML data. The testing case indicates that the heterogeneity among heterogeneous data can be well solved to realize the data exchange among heterogeneous relational databases. The system platform is of scientific design and the selected implementing technology is reasonable.
