Abstract
The current paper analyses frequently used parameters in Peer-to-Peer swarm measurements and proposes three new metrics that offer a qualitative image of the system´s status. The three metrics (performance, reliability and efficiency) are expressed as formulas depending on swarm parameters. A series of simulations are run to test the validity of the information offered by the proposed metrics, and the results of the simulations are analyzed.
