Abstract
Aiming at improving the query efficiency of the mapping information in the identity/locator separating network, the typical buffer management algorithms are discussed and the Markov model is researched in this paper. Then a novel method for dividing the mapping server buffer space is introduced. On this basis, a Markov Model-based algorithm is proposed. The simulation result shows that the efficiency of the method presented in this paper is improved greatly compared with the existing cache management algorithms.
