    This paper introduces a new method to estimate failure rate, which has been termed E-Bayesian estimation, gives two kinds of E-bayesian estimation, whose prior distribution-kernels of λ are λa-1 exp(-bλ) (0<;a<;1,0<;b<;c) and λa-1(0 <; a <;1) respectively, and compare with another estimation, whose prior distribution-kernel of λis exp(-bλ)(0<;b<;c). Then, we discuss properties of the E-Bayesian estimation. Finally, simulation studies are presented according to practical problems, the analysis and comparison to the estimation results are carried on.
