Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

Velocity smoothing is one problem which is proposed in high speed machining and coal mine safety production, the aim of which is to improve machining accuracy or equipment life. From the relation of velocity and acceleration speed, this paper retrieve the common function of velocity smoothing, and after discusses the solution of simple cubic equation, this paper implements velocity smoothing of mine hoist.
