Design and implementation of portable, multi mode of operation embedded firewall

Protecting the inside as well as the outside of the network using a firewall is one of the most important needs required nowadays. Working with laptops in different places has become a necessity for many, so they are connected to different networks. Their computers face many threats especially the threats of crackers, and the protection may be insufficient. This paper presents a portable embedded firewall technique that is easy to implement and can be used with different types of hardware. It can also be made to serve more than one user with each user having a firewall policy which differs from other users.
