Abstract :
The business-model driven pattern is a promising paradigm of developing and evolving MIS software. The contribution of this paper is twofold. First, an extended MDA model architecture and the roadmap from business model to PIM were given, which provides a helpful guidance on the acceptance of business-model driven MIS software development paradigm. Second, a meta-model was established and its components and their relationships were defined, which provides a theoretical basis for the implementation of business-model driven MIS software development and evaluation pattern. We think that further research on this topic should focus on the methods of mapping requirement model into business model and further into PIM.
