Nonlinear simulated annealing is introduced into two-dimensional magnetotelluric inversion in this paper. Adaptive regularization method is also adopted. Testing the algorithm on synthetic model shows the availability of simulated annealing regularized inversion method, which can obtain a stable solution closing to the fact.
