  • Abstract
    Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) has become the hotspot in the research of wireless communication, and channel estimation is one of the key techniques in OFDM system. In this paper, the wireless channel characteristic is analyzed first, then, in allusion to its fading properties, a channel estimation algorithm based on B-spline interpolation is proposed. This algorithm obtains the frequency response of the whole channel with the B-spline interpolation to the pilot response. Analysis illustrates that the B-spline interpolation can effectively achieve the channel properties. Then the precise estimation is acquired with the self-correlation matrix, which optimizes the performance of the channel estimation. Simulation results demonstrate that this algorithm can effectively track the channel properties, which leads to its good performance in the channel estimation.
