Abstract :
It is with much sadness that we share with you the passing of Milton G. Slade on July 16, 2013. In these pages, we briefly describe Milt\´s many professional contributions to the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society and compile remembrances from his family and a few of his colleagues. As we all know so well, it is the interactions with our family members, friends and colleagues that truly provide the richness and breadth of a life "well-lived."
