Abstract
In this paper, we consider the ILQ (Inverse Linear Quadratic) design method incorporating a minimal order observer, and derive the optimal controller including the observer. We adopt the procedure to construct the observer that is independent of the initial state of the system by using the Min-Max method. We show that the synthesis to obtain the ILQ servo controller in the sense of Min-Max including the observer can be reduced to an optimization problem via GEVP (Generalized Eigenvalue Problem), and the optimal solution can be obtained.
