Abstract :
With conventional edge detection algorithms, the shortcomings of undetected and artificial information will happen. An improved method based on grey prediction model is proposed to improve the performance of image edge detection considerably, and the corresponding experiments is carried out. The results show that the algorithm can effectively detect the edge of images, while retaining more vivid image details, comparing to the traditional algorithm.
