Abstract :
In order to solve the problem that the course and mechanism of acoustic propagation are not clear, we presented the method to calculate the transient scattering acoustic field for underwater object using finite difference time domain (FDTD) method according to Hook´s law and Newton´s second law. The transient scattering field for circular shape object in the incidence of plane wave was simulated, the practicability and validity of this model were approved, and gained the evolutionary process of sound wave as the time and intuitionistic image of acoustic field. The innovation of the method is that it can give the characteristics of acoustic field variety and acoustic wave propagation.
