  • Abstract
    Near-field and far-field behaviours of the scattered electric field in the vicinity of inhomogeneous buildings are compared. The influence of the relative position of the observation point and the building façade on the received electromagnetic field is studied. An accurate modelling of the façade using Green´s functions is performed. The result is chosen as a reference and is compared to the homogenized model of the surface in far-zones of buildings. The error between the two models is quantified.
