Abstract :
This paper raises an improved method to control a nonlinear uncertain system with time-delay. First, a Smith-predictor is introduced to move the time-delay out of the closed loop. In this case, a nonlinear PI controller is used to remove the influence of uncertain elements. It is proved by simulation that this composed method is effective to control this special system and can attain a better control effects.
