Abstract :
In order to improve the aeroengine mathematic model precision, the Metamodeling methodology was introduced, and three kinds of metamodels of the compressor flow and efficiency characteristics were built, using polynomial regression(PR), radial basis function(RBF) and Kriging methodology. Simulation on the low-pressure compressor of a given turbo-fan engine was carried out as an example, and the characteristics of unknown rotational speeds were reconstructed in the new calculation region, then model verification and validation were implemented. The modeling complexity and accuracy were analysed. The simulation results show that the aeroengine model solution precision or velocity will be improved by using appropriate compressor characteristics metamodel.
