Abstract :
In this article, an intensive study had been made to improve the efficiency of signal phase transition time and decrease the dilemma zone for fixed-time control isolated intersections. Based on the environment of VII (Vehicle Infrastructure Integration) and using of traffic flow theory and system control theory, the decision assistance system for improving capacity of urban road intersection during transition time between phases has been developed. A multi-agent simulation concept based platform was established based on Repast S using Java Eclipse. Then, the impacts of the proposed system and algorithm on both of traffic safety and efficiency were evaluated and validated.
