  • Abstract
    The bus overall virtual design is very important in automobile design, which will influence the total design quality, usage performance and competitive ability in the market directly. Knowledge-Based Engineering (KBE) technology is one of the key technologies in bus overall virtual design. A bus overall virtual design based on KBE is studied in this paper. Firstly, a related database and knowledge base system is created. Then, the process of realizing the bus overall virtual design system is described. Finally, a method of the bus overall virtual design based on KBE is proposed. It is proved that the Knowledge Based Engineering can be used in bus overall virtual design to.
