Abstract
Taking the sea bottom reverberation as a studied object, a model for simulation reverberation is proposed using time-space discretization to increase the computing speed. The reverberation is the linear response of scatters to the emitting signal, and can be described by a linear network to obtain the impulse response function. By the time discretization of the impulse response function and regional division of the sea bottom, the summation of scatters is translated into the total number of time slice, and the computing speed is increased. The results of numerical simulation show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the computational complexity, and the performance is well in agreement with the theoretical analysis.
