Abstract

This paper presented a new real-time tracking algorithm for multiple targets in video sequence. In the paper, multiple targets track was realized by combing the static characteristic determination and motion feature between adjacent frames. And the characteristics of moving targets in the video were analyzed. Several important characteristics were selected as the characteristics reference of moving target recognition. The detail of the principle of the algorithm was introduced. The experiment and the applications show that the proposed method can realize real-time multiple target tracking with in 10 targets and the run time is within 40 ms.
