Abstract :
The technology of effective visualization for massive vector data of polygons is a key and difficult-solving problem in the field of Digital Earth and Virtual Reality, etc. In this paper, the technology of rasterization for vector data, raster and vector data integration, and LOD were applied on the digital earth platform. Based upon OSG 3D Engine and ArcEngine, the efficiency of massive polygon data displaying and querying were improved.
