Abstract
A self-consistent approach to electrodynamic analysis of different composite materials is presented. It is based on the method of integral equations for calculating current distribution in conductive inclusions and is used for further analysis of composites and devices on their basis. Method capabilities are demonstrated on the example of the problem of electromagnetic wave reflection from a layer of composite material on a metallic backing. A comparative analysis of reflection factor for a layer containing inclusions of different geometry was carried out.
