Abstract :
The paper is prepared by director of Signals division of the Black Sea Fleet (1991-2002), rear admiral, chevalier Zinur Lyapin. Described in the paper is the hard period for signals division of the Black Sea Fleet, which has followed after USSR breakup, as well as innovations introduced into communication technology: wireless telephone, paging, trunking and satellite communication systems.
