Abstract
A procedure for calculating effective electrodynamic properties of a composite material is considered. It allows considering the losses in a matrix, of which the composite is made. The influence of matrix dielectric permittivity on the properties of a composite, containing conductive particles in the form of few-coil helices, is analyzed.
