Abstract :
The use of a fluorescent probe for inferring the temperature constitutes a simple and cost-effective method that provides semi-invasive thermal imaging with a reasonably good temporal and spatial resolution in either dry or liquid phases. Here, we propose to use a two-component luminescent thermometer comprised of spin crossover nanoparticles (with temperature dependent light absorption) and an appropriate luminophore (with negligible temperature dependence).
