Abstract
Program management is a systems- and industrial-engineering-related process for organizing and managing an organization´s projects. Program managers often oversee specific systems development and implementation. The adoption of various converging trends in IT-such as cloud computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), crypto-currency, autonomous systems, and big data-however, challenges traditional program management notions. Combined, these trends also highlight the increasing importance of the notion of computational networks.
