Abstract
Intracellular pH is an important physiological parameter. Cytoplast acidification in S-nitrosoglutathione (GSNO)-induced early apoptosis was recorded in our real-time fluorescence microscopy system, coupling with a novel fluorescence indicator. Quantitative analysis of the kinetic fluorescence curves and the calculation of the parameters were carried out in early apoptosis in detail. The experimental results showed that the intracellular pH decreased significantly and reached a platform within tens of minutes. These findings are beneficial to the GSNO-induced thymocyte apoptosis process mechanism research.
