Abstract :
In this paper, we develop a rank-raised based method for face recognition. The idea of the method is first to use KFD to raise the rank of total-class scatter matrix, and then the subspace method(DLDA) extracts feature space. The detailed method is presented. Experimental results on the ORL database show that the proposed method has more powerful ability of face recognition compared with LDA, DLDA and MMSD method.
