Abstract :
Motion detection plays an important role in Video Surveillance System. This paper analyzes the key technology and needs about it and gives a basic target. Based on analysis, a motion detection system is put forward and an implementation is given. Using DirectDraw technology, the system can fresh the display and give an alarm signal when motion is detected. After testing for a longtime, the software meets the need on motion detection.
