Abstract :
This paper presents a image capture and storage system using SOPC approach (System on programmable chip). The whole system is realized on Altera DE2 platform. Under the same performance, its flexibility is better than the normal system. The pipeline bridge is used to improve the performance of system. The image capture, buffer and display are realized by hardware. The image storage is realized by a combination of software and hardware. The final experiment proves that this system has the characteristic of high real-time and stability.
