  • Abstract
    Due to harmonic problems generated by the converter device of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) system, the HVDC system should use double-tuned filter to inhibit the harmonics. This paper presents two improved structure types of double-tuned filter based on the traditional double-tuned filters, they are the two-inductor parallel type and the two-capacitor parallel type. In this paper, the parameters about two types structure of double-tuned filter are calculated using equivalent and parametric methods, and the transient performance is analyzed. At the same time, by using the PSCAD software, a model for calculating one type double-tuned filter has been established which proved to have a good filtering effect.
