Abstract
This paper presents an analytical tool for analyzing of the complex loads evolution on unbalanced voltage sags disturbances. It uses a mathematical model for the dynamic component of the complex loads, considered as an equivalent induction motor. Based on this model was elaborated an applications software for simulation of its behavior on voltage sags with various magnitudes and shapes. To validate the mathematical model of the complex load used in this work was compared analytical results with data recorded in a given network. Study case, detailed in this paper shows the effect of the voltage dip on power and current consumed by the composite load during these transients.
