Abstract
Fiber optic sensors come in useful in the various fields of industry. Advantages of optic fiber sensors are based on the properties of optical fibers and partly profits from their technological development. The fiber optic temperature sensors use different kinds of sensing, all of them reach the upper sensing limit about 600°C. The aim of this article is to introduce a principle of sensor which is based on the black body radiation.
