Abstract :
The Open Networking Foundation´s Extensibility Working Group is standardizing OpenFlow, the main software-defined networking (SDN) protocol. To address the requirements of a wide range of network devices and to accommodate its all-volunteer membership, the group has made the specification process highly dynamic and similar to that of open source projects.
