Abstract
In order to facilitate students and teachers to share academic theory and knowledge, practical skills, teaching and academic activities and other resources, the comprehensive education platform based on SSH (Struts, Spring and Hibernate) architecture is designed and implemented. Using the existing network, the wideband and the multimedia technologies, multimedia information is gathered, edited, stored and issued. Multimedia resources such as texts, pictures, images, videos and audios can be browsed and shared. Functions, for instance video on demand, online learning, communication and interaction, distant test and so on, are achieved. The system can not only accumulate and manage knowledge but also improve the efficiency of the personnel training and administration.
