Abstract
In the age of knowledge economy represented by informationization and globalization, "cross- university running" among universities is an inevitable demand for social knowledge to develop both in scope and in depth, and is a practical choice for current technological development and talent cultivation. Based on the theory of knowledge alliance, this paper discussed the direct impetus of "cross-university running", which is significant for university administrators in China to treat the model of "cross-university running" more conscientiously and rationally and become more devoted to the construction and improvement of this model.
